Childhood Home Revisited: Unleashing Lucifer from the Glass Prison
I had a dream that I went back to my childhood home, but only had a limited time. I walked through some woods to a small downtown. There were two people stuck in a water filled, glass container. One called himself Lucifer and said I couldn’t get him out, so I punched the glass and released him. He is a reoccurring person I see in my dreams
In general, dreams about going back to one's childhood home represents a desire to revisit or reconnect with aspects of the past, such as childhood memories or feelings of security and comfort.
The woods you walked through may symbolize a period of transition or uncertainty. Arriving in a small downtown could suggest a need to navigate a new or unfamiliar situation.
The image of two people trapped in a water-filled, glass container may represent feelings of being trapped or confined in a situation in waking life. The presence of "Lucifer" could represent a negative or destructive influence, such as temptation or self-sabotage. You punching the glass and releasing him could reflect a desire to break free from these negative influences or patterns.
Recurring figures in dreams often represent unresolved emotions or conflicts that need to be addressed in waking life. It may be helpful to reflect on what "Lucifer" represents to you and consider ways to confront or overcome any negative influences in your life.
